Uansi Kanya

Laxmi is a good looking, well mannered and noble hearted girl. But still she is ridiculed as unlucky. She took birth on a no-moon night and unfortunately, after her birth, her mother died. The superstitious people misunderstood this co-incidence and made her responsible for this mishap.Then onward Laxmi grew up with a stigma and the epithet of ‘Uansi Kanya’.

Laxmi’s step mother keeps her harassing throughout. But her father and grand-mother are very supportive. Her step sister too is very loving.

Overwhelmed by a fear psychosis, when grooms go back and other mishaps visit Laxmi’s house, her step mother makes her suffer all the more.
